Panattoni Europe, a leading industrial space developer in the CEE region, announced the completion of a 10,000-m² build-to-suit facility for ASSA ABLOY in Týnitě nad Orlicí in the Czech Republic.
The project is a stand-alone BTS located in Týnitě nad Orlicí (20 km from Hradec Králové city center) in eastern Czech Republic. The customer ASSA ABLOY Rychnov, part of the Swedish-based ASSA ABLOY Group, the global leader in door opening solutions, has leased 10,000 m² of industrial space in the newly delivered building, which will serve as a production plant. The facility will support the automotive market brand FACEA growth strategy within the automotive industry market segment.
Ing. Jaroslav Kaizr MSc. MRICS, Partner at Cushman and Wakefield, comments: "Our company represented ASSA ABLOY in the acquisition of a new manufacturing plant in a location with a very low supply. Panattoni offered solution which best met the technical and financial requirements of ASSA ABLOY. The new manufacturing facility in Týnitě nad Orlicí was built in seven months from signing the future lease contract and thus within the timeframe agreed by the parties."
Location
The BTS facility is part of the existing industrial estate adjacent to Týnitě nad Orlicí city. Týnitě has an exceptional location within Hradec Králové/Pardubice region with its proximity to Kvasiny (Volkswagen Group-owned koda Auto factory) approx. 20 km, and Hradec Králové city approx. 20 km.
Panattoni Europe has already cooperated with the ASSA ABLOY Group in Stříbro, where BESAM, another company belonging to the Group, leased 15,000 m² of space at Panattoni D5 Logistics Park. In 2011 Panattoni Europe in the Czech Republic leased nearly 60,000 m² of space and delivered over 40,000 m² altogether in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
