JLL has sucessfully advised P3, the sepcialist owner, developer and manager of European logistics properties, in the acquisition of warehouse assets in Poland and Romania from CA Immobilien Anlagen AG. The portfolio consists of two logistics parks in Poland and one in Romania, totalling 467,000 m² of leasable space. The acquisition also included 165 hectares of industrial land, principally in Poland and Romania.
“P3 has doubled in size over the past year after a number of very large acquisitions in Italy and CEE, and is now one of the top logistics providers in Europe. Therefore with this largest investment in Poland and Romania, it was vital to have the support of an agency partner such as JLL, who understood our business strategy and had the expertise and geographic reach to assist us in complex cross-border transactions.” said CEE Managing Director, Peter Becar.
The park in Blonie is located 27km to the west of Warsaw's city center, and is close to national road 92. The logistics park is also well-served by the A2 motorway. The logistics center comprimises a total of 12 modern facilities for rent in Warsaw with a total leasable space of 177,000 m². Tenants include Bayer, IBM, Orange, Triumph and Allegro.
The second asset, the park near Piotrkow also has excellent transportation links. The park offers 75,000 m² of warehouse space with Kühne & Nagel, FM Logistics and InPost among its largest tenants.
The Bucharest park is the largest of the three assets acquired by P3 and the largest existing logistics development in Romania. It offers 215,000 m² of warehouse space and 40 hectares of land for development close to Bucharest.
