OVG sells Sonion offices to Fidelity (NL)

OVG Real Estate and Fidelity Worldwide Investment have reached agreement on the sale of the Sonion office in Hoofddorp. The building comprising around 4,800 m² and 96 parking spaces, has a BREEAM-NL Very Good certificate and is located on the Taurusavenue in the Beukenhorst Zuid district of Hoofddorp.

The four-story building consists of laboratories, research facilities, offices and a semi-underground car park. It has a light atrium providing views across the landscape of the Haarlemmermeer and the adjacent Geniedijk that is included on the Unesco World Heritage List. The Sonion office is OVG's fourth development in the area following neighbors Asics, TNT office and Schneider Electric. The sustainable office park is full of life and has perfect access to public transport hubs and the A4 motorway.

Fidelity Worldwide Investments is currently one of the largest global providers of financial products and services to professional clients, companies and private individuals, managing a total capital of more than €180.4 billion. This transaction is their first real estate purchase in the Netherlands.

A ten-year lease has been agreed with Sonion, world leader in the design and production of miniature components and hearing aid, audio equipment and medical equipment solutions. The project is designed by architects cepezed B.V. and was built by Boele & van Eesteren.
