OVG completes new offices for Oranjewoud (NL)

OVG Real Estate handed over the new offices for Oranjewoud end of April. The building of 7,820 m² with 280 parking spaces is located on the Beneluxweg in Oosterhout. Once occupied by Oranjewoud, the building will be certified BREEAM-NL Very Good. The office has been designed by Paul de Ruiter architects. Oranjewoud has entered into a 10-year lease to use the building.

Oranjewoud, one of the largest consultancy and engineering agencies in urban development, mobility, construction and real estate business in the Netherlands, has established sustainability as part of its mission and sees sustainability as a continuous process. The BREEAM-NL Very Good building also therefore fits in closely with its sustainability strategy. Among other things the office includes a TES (Thermal Energy Storage) sited at the entrance to the building, located at the entrance of the building. Applications are also installed to save water and energy and to reduce waste and CO2 emissions.

Coen van Oostrom (CEO OVG): “We are proud to be able to include yet another BREEAM building in our portfolio. This development is a showcase for what can be achieved when all parties are thinking along the same lines and set the importance of sustainability as priority.”

The project was realized through close cooperation between Oranjewoud, Dura Vermeer Rosmalen, Paul de Ruiter architects, engineers Bartels, Hiensch (installations) and OVG Real Estate.
