OVG Real Estate has handed a new office over to Cofely on Friday, November 30. The 6,200 m² building is a redevelopment of Cofely's original office on the home ground they have occupied since 1942 on the Willingestraat in the port of Rotterdam. JHK Architecten designed the office located on the Nieuwe Maas River, which will be used by the Cofely West Industrie division.

Cofely, being specialist in the field of sustainable energy efficiency technology application, together with OVG combined their expertise in order to design systems that will cleverly both save and generate energy. Together with the Port of Rotterdam, OVG has been responsible for a major cleanup of the soil in the old dock area. Both above as well as under ground the highest level of sustainable redevelopment was striven for.

The project has been realized thanks to an intensive cooperation between Wölbern Invest KG (investor), ABN AMRO Real Estate Finance (financier), Dura Vermeer Bouw Rotterdam (contractor), Cofely and OVG Real Estate.
