EPIC (European Property Italian Conference) is the largest and most well known Italian property conference to incorporate the real estate sector as well as the national and international finance sectors which support property transactions. Launched in 1999, EPIC celebrated its 10 year anniversary this year and the event continues to flourish, having given rise to a community that meets each year in Rome to network and share ideas.

Changing times
The theme at this year's EPIC was Quo Vadis? Good time for a change, and with the recent ups and downs in Europe's property market, change is in the air. EPIC offered new avenues for opportunities presented by change, underlining the importance of renewal. As in previous years, EPIC drew a large gathering of topnotch speakers and delegates from around the globe, with more than 500 professionals in attendance. This year the event was held at the stately St. Regis Grand, Roma.
This was my second attendance at EPIC, and following a smooth flight from Rotterdam I was excited to return to the ancient mystic city of Rome, enjoying spectacular views of the Coliseum and other striking architecture from the air. I stayed at the Augusta Lucilla Palace, an easy ten minute stroll to the conference and the energetic vibrant energy of the St. Regis Grand.
