The Dutch franchise organization Oil & Vinegar has announced that it will open 135 stores over the next three years in the United States and South Africa. Oil & Vinegar currently has over 100 stores in ten countries (including 40 in the Netherlands). The company exists since September 1999.
Oil & Vinegar has reached an agreement with the American investment syndicate Hampstead Holding. This partner is planning to open 124 stores in eleven different states amongst which Florida, California, New York and Pennsylvania over the next three years. Oil & Vinegar started in the US last summer with four stores and wants to expand to a chain of at least 300 stores.
South Africa will also get to know Oil & Vinegar as 10 stores will be opening there this and next year. The first store will open in Johannesburg in May.
The retail company is currently active in the Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Portugal and Sweden. This Spring a first store will open in Spain.
