Ocean Plaza new largest mall in Kiev is 100% filled with tenants (UA)

According to UTG company – the concept author and exclusive leasing agent of the shopping & entertainment center Ocean Plaza – this shopping and entertainment center on Gorky street, Kiev, Ukraine, is 100% filled with tenants.


Ocean Plaza can accommodate 350 shops, 50 cafés and restaurants.

"I would like to note that all the Ocean Plaza lease areas have been occupied even before the official shopping center opening, which will be held on December 7", says the UTG company partner Vitaly Boyko.

"In the very first week of its operation, the Ocean Plaza shopping and entertainment center reached its projected attendance of 60,000 people a day, which most notably indicates the validity of its concept. And this is despite the fact that when the technical opening of the object was held on November 19, only 60% of the stores were opened. Now it is 80%, and by January all the shops will have been opened and all the facilities of the shopping center will have been working at their full capacity."

According to Vitaly Boyko, Ocean Plaza is superior to existing not only Ukrainian but all the CIS shopping centers in the number of indicators. Ocean Plaza is unique in its location: the shopping center with the area of 70,000 m² is located in the center of the capital city with the population of five million people. It is also unique in terms of transport infrastructure: more than 30 surface transport routes run along its facade, one of the facades is close to a subway exit, the other – to the inter-city railroad station.

Thanks to its huge size, this shopping center can accommodate 350 shops, 50 cafés and restaurants, and also a supermarket, which is rare for the city center shopping projects. Ocean Plaza houses a free public aquarium, Happylon children's entertainment center as well as a premiere cinema.

In its unusual 'oceanic' architecture Ocean Plaza Mall follows the best examples of the world shopping centers: it has a lot of natural light, the effect of a busy shopping street inside the building has been ingeniously created. Over 30% of brands represented in the Ocean Plaza have chosen this shopping center as their entry-project.
