Noreena Hertz, Barry Varcoe and Miles Hilton Barber keynote speakers at CoreNet Global 2006 Summit

The fifth annual European Summit on 17-19 September 2006 in Lisbon, will explore real estate perspectives on Europe's expanding reach to other cultures, markets, businesses and partners throughout the Middle East, Africa and other nations that are united by a common language and interest. The resulting convergence of companies, corporate functions and communities will be examined, discussing how this affects the boundaries of traditional multi-national business by increasing scope and opportunity, but at the same time raising levels of risk and complexity.

Keynote speakers this year will include Political Economist, Author and former advisor on market economics to Boris Yeltzin's government Noreena Hertz MBA, PhD, who will be discussing 'Responsible Globalisation'; Barry Varcoe, Director of Group Property at Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, who will describe how establishing the culture of sustainable innovation led to RBS becoming one of the largest banks in the world; and the inspirational international adventurer Miles Hilton Barber will deliver a keynote address entitled 'Around the World in 80 Ways'.
The annual three-day event is now established as a key calendar date for corporate real estate professionals in Europe. CB Richard Ellis is the official summit partner.
