Niam acquires 16 properties from Dagon (SE)

Niam has purchased 16 properties from the listed Swedish real estate company, Dagon, together with Crown Asset Management. The properties were acquired through the joint company Niam Center Syd Fastighets AB.

Dagon is divesting the portfolio comprising 16 assets in order to strengthen its position in its target markets. Several of the assets are located in villages where Dagon owns only one or a few properties.

The assets comprise a total lettable area of approx. 66 000 m², whereof a third is industrial, a third is retail and a third is office area. The assets are worth a total of approx. €38 million. The closing is expected to take place on November 1st. During the period between today and the closing, a costumary Due Diligence will take place, which can cause alterations in the deal.

Johan Bergman, Managing Director of Niam, comments, "This acquisition is part of our strategy to continue building our portfolio of industrial and logistic properties. We see lots of potential in these assets."
