Niam has agreed to purchase an office building comprising approximately 25,800 m² and located in Vantaa, which is part of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Niam has also executed a long-term rental agreement for the premises with the single tenant who is a leading technical and environmental consultant firm. In addition to the office property, Niam acquired 50% of the shares in Martinparkki Oy, which owns the adjacent car park. The transaction is expected to close before year end 2013.
Johan Bergman, CEO at Niam, commented, “This was an opportunity for us to acquire a property with attractive and stable cash flows located next to the new airport express train between the international airport and the city of Helsinki. We are confident that the Helsinki office market is a very attractive investment market that will continue to improve and grow.”
