New site for Gazeley at Magna Park Kassel (DE)

Gazeley, a leading global developer of logistics and distribution space, is going to invest into the further expansion of its Magna Park, located within the Kassel Freight Village. South to the existing developments the company has secured another piece of land enabling Gazeley to develop build-to-suit warehouses of ca. 50,000 m².

This is a highly attractive location for companies from various industrial sectors. Existing settlements comprise distribution centers of end-users and logistics service providers from the automotive sector or the solar industry. The overall rented space developed by Gazeley at Magna Park Kassel adds up to more than 182,000 m².

“We are pleased to see the further success of the Magna Park concept, which gives us the opportunity to offer more flexible solutions to the increasing number of customers who wish to locate in Kassel”, says Ingo Steves, Director at Gazeley Germany. “Early on Gazeley saw the high potential of this site and made substantial investments for the promotion of Magna Park Kassel. We are convinced that our success story will continue.”

Due to the central location of Magna Park Kassel all German destinations and big metropolitan areas can be reached within five hours.

Ms Kathrin Laurier of the Northern Hessen Development Agency welcomes the expansion of Magna Park Kassel as well. “As far back as the beginning of the century Gazeley has been an engine of growth who showed faith in Kassel. In the past 10 years the logistics sector of the region has accounted for more than 7,000 additional jobs. The current land expansion underlines the ranking of the Kassel area as one of the most coveted German and European logistics locations.”
