New offices for Gateway Gardens (DE)

Gateway Gardens

In the new Frankfurt district, Gateway Gardens, Dr. Helmut Greve Bau- und Boden-Aktiengesellschaft from Hamburg is building a large 13,700 m² office building. According to the initial plans, “AirPark Frankfurt” will be developed at the beginning of 2018 in a prominent location on Amelia-Mary-Earhart-Straße, at the corner of Bessie-Coleman-Straße. It should be possible for the first tenants to move in in 2019. The expected total investment volume will be €30m.

The building has seven full storeys as well as an underground garage with parking for 150 cars and around 180 bicycles. As part of a “Business & Bike” offer, cyclists will find dressing rooms, showers and lockers. Due to the storey height, the ground floor has generous proportions and is characterised by public use with food services and retail shops. The new building is located at the “Gate West” entrance of Gateway Gardens at walking distance from Terminal 2 of the airport, the new rapid transit (S-Bahn) station and the park.

Gateway Gardens stands for an invaluable 1A location in the immediate vicinity of one of Europe’s most important airports,” explains Eva-Maria Greve, CEO of Dr. Helmut Greve Bau- und Boden-Aktiengesellschaft. “The factors of accessibility, urbanity and internationality absolutely convinced us. Just like the unique campus character in Gateway Gardens, which we will pick up on by a courtyard that can be accessed directly from outside and the publically used ground floor.“

Companies that operate internationally are looking for attractive locations with a perfect transport connection,” says Dr. Kerstin Hennig, Managing Director of Grundstücksgesellschaft Gateway Gardens. „Gateway Gardens offers this as certainly the most mobile location in the heart of Europe. These companies would like to offer their employees an appealing environment. Gateway Gardens scores here with its urban structure and a range of local suppliers, day-care, fitness and much more. That helps to put the work/life balance into harmony in a better way.“
