New Head of UK Retail Agency at Cushman & Wakefield (UK)

Cushman & Wakefield has announced Justin Taylor will become CEO of the UK retail and leisure agency teams with effect from January 1, 2011. He will also become a member of the firm's UK Board.


John Strachan, long-standing retail head, who has led the team for over 10 years, will become Chairman of the UK retail and leisure agency team and will continue in his role as global head of retail for Cushman & Wakefield.


Justin Taylor, joined the firm in 1981 and became an Equity Partner in 1997. His broad retail experience has included working in all sectors of the retail market advising occupier and developer/investor clients. This has more recently included the leasing of major mixed-use projects such as Birmingham Bullring, Liverpool One and Cardiff St David's, plus extensive international experience.


Justin Taylor commented; "We see significant opportunities in the current market for both our occupier and owner clients. In this context we will be expanding our retail and leisure teams in London and regionally, in response to these growing client requirements."
