New appointment in Colliers International (RU)

In order to reinforce and grow Colliers International position in the Moscow office property market, Oleg Spoda has been appointed Business Development Director of the Agency Group of the Office Property Department. Mr. Spoda will be responsible for promoting the Office Property Department services, as well as for establishing and developing business relations with office property developers and owners.

Oleg Spoda was born on April 27, 1968, in Bratsk (Irkutsk Region). In 1991 he graduated from Irkutsk State University with a law degree. From 1991 to 1993 he learned English and studied at Seaton Hall University majoring in marketing. To work with real estate, Mr. Spoda took CCIM 101 and Negotiating Commercial Leases courses and participated in an educational program on BOMA Office Measurement Standards. He has been a member of the Urban Land Institute since 2007.

Mr. Spoda began his career in 1993 with Sky West in Utah, USA. In 1995 he returned to Russia where he got top positions at companies such as EKA, Eurokommerz, MFK TRUST, etc. From 2006 to June 2008 Oleg Spoda represented the interests of office property tenants at Knight Frank. During his commercial real estate career he has actively participated in multiple deals. Among Mr. Spoda’s clients there are companies such as Uniastrum Bank, Swedbank, Samsung Service, Sony Ericsson, Bouygues Batiment, Gazprom-PKhG, and Gazpromipoteka.
