NEINVER opens Coruña The Style Outlets, attracting large numbers of shoppers (ES)

NEINVER, Europe's second largest operator of outlet centers, has opened its new center Coruña The Style Oultets in Galicia, Spain: the first The Style Outlets in Spain. The center is the latest addition to NEINVER's European platform.

The new outlet center has 12,600 m² of gross leasable area.



This new NEINVER outlet center is the company's fifth in Spain (Factory Madrid Las Rozas, Factory Madrid Getafe, Factory Madrid San Sebastián de los Reyes, Factory Sevilla Aeropuerto and Coruña The Style Outlets) and its 12th in Europe. The Style Outlets, which is already operating successfully in such markets as Germany, Portugal and Italy, will soon launch in France.

The new outlet center, with 12,600 m² of gross leasable area and more than 860 parking spaces, attracted a total of 25,000 visitors in the first four days after its grand opening, held on May 4, 2011.

Shoppers and brands alike expressed pleasure with the new center, in terms of the range and quality of products and its architecture. Customers' pleasure at finding quality products at affordable prices has been a constant since the center opened and this fact is reflected in the sales figures: just on the opening day, sales were three times over than a normal weekday figures for a center of its type and size. At the weekend, those sales figures doubled.

Indeed, the management of the Cortefiel Group's Fifty Factory brand has stated: "Our sales numbers at Coruña The Style Outlets have far outstripped expectations in these first four days".

The center features outlet shops from international brands, including: Calvin Klein, Puma, Guess, Jerem, Hush Puppies, Varlion, Callaghan, Geox and Amichi, and the first Element outlet in the world. And also prestigious national ones: Punto Blanco, Mustang, Caramelo, Desigual, the Cortefiel Group, Mayoral, Roberto Verino, and Trucco. What's more, all products have a guaranteed markdown of at least 30%, which can go as high as 80% at certain times of year.

But Coruña The Style Outlets has more to offer than just its wide range of fashion brands. It provides a unique, complete shopping experience thanks to its design and facilities. The center features large areas for rest and relax, a WiFi lounge, restaurants and other food services, including some with terraced seating, play areas for children up to age three and a staffed playroom for children aged four to 13, with edutainment activities designed especially for them.

According to Manuel Lagares, CEO of NEINVER, Coruña The Style Outlets "is a unique, distinctive, exclusive project that will surely become the benchmark outlet center for the north of Spain. This is also the first The Style Outlets center in Spain. We couldn't have chosen a better location: Galicia, the birthplace of Spanish fashion".
