NCC Construction AS in Norway has concluded an agreement worth approx. €54 million (SEK 548 mln) with Sørkedalsveien 9 AS concerning the construction of 300 new apartments in Oslo, Norway. The assignment will be conducted in the form of a turn-key contract.
The project has been named 'Nye Major' (New Major) and is located at Majorstua in Oslo. The owners of Sørkedalsveien 9 AS are Naturbetong AS and Titas Eiendom AS. In addition to the 300 apartments, NCC will build 5,000 m² of premises intended for industrial operations.
NCC will commence its construction work on May 1, and the area is scheduled for completion during the second half of 2009.
