NAI apollo Places Krages property in Bremen with Halverton Real Estate Investment Management GmbH (DE)

NAI apollo, Frankfurt/Main, has placed the Krages property in Bremen with Halverton Real Estate Investment Management GmbH. The object with a property area of 250,000 m² comprises over 170,000 m² of production area and 1,700 m² of office space. Renowned enterprises such as DHL and finnforest, Europe's larges group for timer products have their headquarters there. Halverton Real Estate Investment Management GmbH invests a total of around €35 million for this transaction. The vendor, a member of the HVB group, was supported by proConsult, Hamburg.

The overall volume of Halverton Real Estate Investment Management GmbH in Germany is thereby increased to around €65 million. With the support of NAI apollo, HBI already acquired an industrial park in Neuss and an object in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg near Mainz for a total of around €30 million in 2005.

The timber store Louis Krages, whose former property has now been acquired by HBI, was once one of Bremen's most successful businesses and taken over by a Finnish group several years ago, one of whose members is finnforest, one of today's primary lessees.

The property is one of the most significant industrial areas of Bremen, new rentals in 2004 represented about one third of the entire rental performance of the Hanseatic city.
