NAI apollo opens branch in Berlin (DE)

NAI apollo, the owner-managed real estate consultancy firm specialising in commercial property, continues to grow, opening a new branch in Berlin with immediate effect. This step is a response to an ongoing high level of demand from NAI apollo's institutional clients in the specific area of real estate investment advice.

Joining existing branches in Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf and Mülheim, NAI apollo Berlin is the firm's fifth German office. More branches will follow as the firm expands, with the focus on Germany's attractive regional investment and rental markets.

The consultancy firm has already played a successful part in high-profile investments in the Berlin area, for example in the acquisition by DIC Asset AG of eBay's German headquarters, a 19,000 m² complex in the EUROPARC Dreilinden commercial park. NAI apollo's sights remain fixed on Berlin's commercial investment market, as Axel König, CEO of NAI apollo confirms: "Last year saw Berlin's real estate investment market grow by 74%, equating to a transaction volume of more than €1.7 billion. In our view, the market continues to hold considerable potential for upward growth."

The Berlin branch will be headed by Dr. Thomas Steinmüller. Dr. Steinmüller is among the foremost experts in the logistics property sector in Germany and has released numerous publications on real estate and financing in the logistics industry. He was Head of International Logistics Financing and Advisory at Aareal Bank for many years, subsequently working as an independent consultant and as Managing Director of CapTen AG in Munich and Berlin.
Giving NAI apollo Berlin a flying start, Dr. Steinmüller brings with him an experienced team with local market knowledge. NAI apollo will be using the new Berlin branch to provide on-the-spot service for its existing clients there and, in its dealings with international clients, as the requisite market presence in Germany's capital city and a major metropolitan region.
