NAI apollo group appoints Dr. Marcel Crommen Managing Director of the holding (DE)

The real estate consulting group NAI apollo group will continue to grow in the years to come and has appointed Dr. Marcel Crommen MRICS to the position of Managing Director of the holding company as from August 1, 2012 to help drive its expansion strategy.

43 year old Crommen will head the company together with the Managing Partners and founders Axel König and Andreas Krone. Dr. Crommen has more than 13 years of experience in real estate investment banking. At NAI apollo group he will be predominantly responsible for advising institutional real estate investors and banks, and for the Operations and controlling divisions.

An independent real estate service group with a broad range of activities including brokerage, investment, research, valuation, asset and property management and construction, NAI apollo group supports institutional investors around Germany and abroad in optimizing their real property portfolios in the office, industry, residential and retail segments.

"Dr. Crommen has many years of experience advising institutional real estate clients and extensive know-how in the fields of financing and financial engineering, which are becoming increasingly important in today's market to increase the returns earned with real estate," says Andreas Krone, Managing Partner and founder of the NAI apollo group holding. Before coming to NAI apollo group, Dr. Marcel Crommen MRICS was a member of the board of management of Youniq AG (Frankfurt) from 2009 to 2011, where he was playing a key role in establishing the company as the market leader in student housing, including the successful capital increase in 2011.

Among his other previous positions are in particular Citigroup (Frankfurt), where he was Head of Real Estate Investment Banking for the German-speaking countries, Central and Eastern Europe, and Deutsche Bank (London/Frankfurt am Main), where he was responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the same capacity.
