The finishing touches are being made to 'I Petali di Reggio', a multi-functional mall that is being built in the surrounding areas of a stadium in Reggio Emilia, in Italy. "We believe we can offer the city a truly useful and innovative structure, designed to meet all the needs of families in the Reggio Emilia area," said Mauro Mancini, Managing Director of Multi Development-C Italia, the company that is developing the project.
The I Petali di Reggio complex will offer a very high-level selection of shops and services. Stores will include top Italian and international names such as the Cisalfa group, Inditex with its Zara brand and other specialised group brands, Hennes & Mauritz (H&M), as well as a leading electronics brand.
Catering facilities will range from ethnic food, with Japanese, Mexican and American cuisine, to traditional Italian cuisine, with a special focus on companies whose products are more qualified and representative of the Reggio Emilia area.
The leisure and entertainment facilities will include an 11-screen Multiplex Cinestar and an outdoor games area featuring a skating rink. Visitors will be able to relax in a brand-new fitness and wellness center with all the high-quality facilities that are a trademark of Virgin Active health club.
It will be located in a 4-story tower, and there will be another tower containing modern and functional municipal offices.
"We hope that the first petal, the Multiplex Cinema, can blossom during the Christmas holidays and the mall can open its doors in March," said Mancini. "Multi Development-C Italia has complied with all the requirements from administration, presenting a proposal that also takes into account the requests made by trade associations in the various meetings we have had."
