Multi Development Germany was awarded BREEAM certificates with the highest mark of 'Excellent' for the Arneken Galerie in Hildesheim and 'Excellent' for Boulevard Berlin at Schlossstrasse in Berlin.
Multi Development Turkey was awarded its first ever BREEAM 'Very Good' in Kayseri, Turkey for Forum Kayseri and Multi Development Czech Republic gained a BREEAM 'Very Good' award for Forum Nova Karolina in Ostrava which will open on March, 21, 2012.
BREEAM, or 'Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method', provides an internationally applicable classification system for sustainable building. The BREEAM rating system is based on eight categories, including aspects of material use, air and water pollution, land use, transport and mobility, waste management, energy consumption and generation, as well as CO2 emissions.
The BREEAM quality standard was selected as the benchmark standard for use in Europe by the ICSC. By developing long term successful projects with high BREEAM scores, Multi creates new city hearts that sustain the future.
