The Washington DC Chapter of the American Institute of Architects has honored the Nike European Headquarters in Hilversum, the Netherlands with its Award for Excellence in Architecture.
The Nike European Head office is developed by Multi Development Corporation and is based on a Masterplan by T+T Design. Architects are William McDonough + Partners, Architecture and Community Design. Investor is CGI, Frankfort, Germany. Ecologically intelligent ideas and an urbane approach are employed to planning in the design of the Nike campus.
On the site next to Nike, MDC is developing landscape offices designed by the famous architect Emilio Ambasz (in cooperation with Delta Lloyd Real Estate and Phoenix Development.) This office park offers 60.300 m² of office space divided over 9 buildings.
