More than 20,000 visitors attended Roppenheim The Style Outlets' opening (FR)

The first outlet center by NEINVER and MAB Development in France, Roppenheim The Style Outlets, opened its doors to the public with great success. More than 20,000 people visited the center during the opening, generating up to 10 km of tailbacks on the highway to its access and completing the whole car park from very early in the morning.

"Roppenheim The Style Outlets is a successful project because of its design, its commercial brands and its strategic location" said Mayte Legeay, Country Manager of NEINVER France, during the launch party. "France is a key country in our expansion strategy and opening our first center means the consolidation of NEINVER as a benchmark company in the outlet sector and as an international platform for brands" said Legeay.

Unique shopping experience
Roppenheim The Style Outlets opened its doors with a floor area well above the average, which is usually between 13,000 and 15,000 m² of GLA. The commercial offer includes first quality products with minimal discounts of 30% that, according to the season and the time of year, can reach to 70%.

It has 107 shops for fashion, decoration and accessories-, amongst others, with national and international brands such as: Calvin Klein, Desigual, Guess, Pepe Jeans, Dockers, Levi's, Gant, Puma, Adidas, Nike, Quiksilver, Fossil or Lindt.

The center offers visitors a unique shopping experience and it completes its retail offer with zones of rest and leisure, restaurant services, familiar entertainment and children´s play areas.

Sustainable design and strategic location
Roppenheim The Style Outlets features a unique design which recreates a typical village of Alsace, with three different architectural styles: Baroque, Medieval and Renaissance. The center is designed to achieve its full harmony with the environment and has 50,000 m² of green areas in including a lake. Furthermore, it is located in Alsace, in northeastern France near the German border, being one of the most prosperous regions of the country.

"Its architecture and design have been designed to enhance and to reveal to the visitors a new shopping experience based on the best commercial mix to become a new tourist destination in the region. Do not forget that Alsace, in France, and Baden-Württemberg, Germany, are two very successful areas in which each year attract over 27 million tourists," said Jan Eijkemans, International Managing Director MAB Development.
