Millennium Gate and CEU Business School construction work begins (HU)

The new phase of Millennium City Center, one of the largest property developments of Central-Europe, has arrived to an important milestone. The construction of the Millennium Gate with its exceptional design, jointly developed by TriGranit and Arcadom, has started by the groundbreaking ceremony held this afternoon.

Launching this building, the scope of services provided by the new neighborhood built according to the „city in city" concept, will reach a new level. There will be a 15,000 sqm office building constructed, along with the 11,000 sqm Central European University Business School.

The new educational centre will incorporate several offices, lecture halls and a coliseum-style auditorium. Serving the more efficient study and comfort of its students, the CEU Business School will have restaurant, cafeteria, library, fitness center, as well.

Parallel to the construction of CEU, we are commencing the works of the Millennium Gate. On the first floor shops and cafeterias will offer leisure and meeting place for the office staff. Under the building there will be parking facilities for about 300 cars.

The office tower and the University building - to be handed over in 2009 - will form a 15-meter wide gate, a gate between the old and the new city, a gate into the Millennium City Center. This will provide pedestrians with an access from the main street to the boardwalk on the Danube bank.
