Michel Riaskoff sells shares in Foruminvest to partner David Ermia and founds new company in Brazil (NL/BR)

After 20 years working successfully together, Michel Riaskoff is to sell his interest to partner and fellow director David Ermia, who will thus become the 100% owner of Foruminvest.

Riaskoff will remain an adviser to Foruminvest on its Belgian projects, including the expansion of Les Grands Prés in Mons, which will include a new IKEA. Foruminvest will shortly move its head office to Amsterdam.

Michel Riaskoff will keep on the office in Laren as the Dutch base for a new Brazilian shopping centre fund, in which both wealthy private individuals and institutional investors will participate. The fund will invest in new shopping center developments, with a dominant market position in growing cities from 200,000 inhabitants. The shopping centers will be developed by a Brazilian/Dutch team in Sao Paolo.

Foruminvest will continue to focus on developing/redeveloping and investing in leading shopping centers in the Netherlands, France and Italy and on its interests in Belgium.

In addition, Foruminvest operates activities related to the management of shopping centres, Forum in the Mall and Forum Sceno, and its own architecture practice 'Forum Concept & Design' which makes the designs for all its projects in Europe. Foruminvest also runs its own TV channel 'ForumTV' from its own studio in Brussels which entertains consumers in Foruminvest shopping centers.
