MGallery unveils a new hotel within a historic estate in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, Paris.

The "Margot" is a historic residence located in Issy-les-Moulineaux, just a few minutes from Paris. The property offers ten premium rooms and suites and has been redesigned by the Society of Priests of Saint-Sulpice alongside the Wilmotte & Associes architecture firm and the Accor group. The site includes a stunning 17th-century building, a restored chapel, and a modern three-storey "Sulpice" building.

"We wanted to restore this place as closely as possible to its original condition," said Francois Neveu, landscaper

The hotel offers 83 rooms and suites on the estate, ranging in size from 27m² to 55m². This landscape is a replica of the 17th century and spans an entire hectare. It consists of 5,000m² of vegetation, 1,000m² of grass lawns, 100 trees, and 200 fruit trees.

"To make a garden, you need a piece of land and eternity,” said Gilles Clement, Botanist-Landscaper

The wellness area offers three treatment rooms as well as a heated pool, hammam, sauna, and a fitness room. The Marguerite 1606 restaurant serves plant-based, bistro-style dishes under a historic glass roof, while the Marguerite bar transforms from serving teas and juices in the afternoon to a speakeasy-style bar with botanically-inspired cocktails in the evening. The rum bar, located within the historic, neo-Gothic heart of the converted chapel, offers a unique tasting experience with a generous library of spirits comprising 400 bottles from over 35 destinations, emphasizing family-owned distilleries.
