Mexican investment fund acquires Spanish portfolio for €300 million (ES)

CBRE announced today that it has advised Moor Park Capital Partners Lpp on the disposal of Banc Sabadell’s Spanish real estate portfolio for €300 million. This is the largest transaction in Spain so far in 2013. Fibra Uno, a Mexican investment fund, acquired the portfolio that comprises 250 retail assets - bank branches let to Banc Sabadell - located across Spain.


Adolfo Ramirez-Escudero, Managing Director, Capital Markets, CBRE Spain, commented: “This transaction, the largest in Spain so far this year, shows the recovery of the Spanish real estate market, the consistent interest in the market from Latin-American capital, and CBRE’s market-leading position in commercial real estate investment transactions.”


The transaction completes a 360º advisory to Moor Park Capital partners after CBRE advised on the initial purchase of the portfolio, comprising then of 378 branches, for €403 million in 2010.
