The winners of the MAPIC 2013 Awards have been announced yesterday during the ceremony/dinner held at Hotel Martinez in Cannes, France.
The United Kingdom wins four out of nine MAPIC awards in the 18th edition of the prestigious conference.
“The many British winners confirm the dynamism of these retailers and their ability to adapt to today’s changes in retailing. As well as being a leader in the e-commerce market, the UK also has key players in bricks & mortar retailing,” says Nathalie Depetro, Director of MAPIC.
The UK was declared a winner in the following categories: Best Fashion & Footwear Retail Concept, Best Omni-channel Strategy, Best Retail Global Expansion and Best Retail Real Estate Development in City Centre categories.
