FIABCI Prix dôExcellence (FIABCI Award) - The best of world real estate
The FIABCI Prix dôExcellence is awarded once a year during the FIABCI Congress. The projects may be entered in 7 categories: - leisure, - offices/industrial, - public sector, - residential, - retail and - specialized projects.
The multifunctional ôde Residentô project covers the area between Fluwelen Burgwal, Herengracht and Turfmarkt. De Resident, a city within a city, forms a bridge between the low-rise buildings of the old city centre and the large-scale office buildings within the vicinity of The Hagueôs Central Station.
ôDe Residentô provides The Hague with a high quality, vibrant inner-city environment that will appeal to everyoneââ¬â¢s imagination. It is an area where living, working and shopping will come together in a compact environment of striking yet varied buildings, atmospheric streets and attractive squares.
ôDe Residentô consists of 115,000 mò of offices, 315 residential units, 4,500 mò retail and 800 covered parking spaces divided between three car parks.
10 famous (inter)national architects have worked on ôDe Residentô: Rob Krier, Sjoerd Soeters, Michael Graves, Cesar Pelli, Adolfo Natalini, Thon Karelse, Gunnar Daan, Bert Dirrix, Peter Drijver en Richard Koek.
