The Supervisory Board of Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH has appointed Franz Lucien Mörsdorf (46) Chairman of the Board of Management, effective immediately. The other members of the Board of Management are Johannes Haug, Dr. Walter Helbach and Andreas Steyer.
Mörsdorf is a recognised real estate expert with a degree in industrial engineering and over twelve years of experience in the real estate industry. He was formerly a member of the board of management of aurelis Management GmbH, a joint venture of WestLB and Deutsche Bahn AG, which was responsible for managing 1,850 properties and 2,200 rental buildings. Previously, Mörsdorf was chairman of the board of management of a WestLB and Metro AG holding company, and of CB Richard Ellis Germany. Prior to that, he managed the German portfolio for the global Rodamco fund.
