M Core Princes Square shopping centre in Glasgow (GB)

Princes Square shopping centre has recently been sold to M Core for an undisclosed fee. The mall, located on Buchanan Street in Glasgow city centre, covers an area of 11,020m2 and features a variety of retail and food outlets spread across several stores.

 

The shopping centre has four self-contained retail units along the high street and an inner mall spanning five levels. Popular brands such as Levi's, Michael Kors, Cos, Office, Sweaty Betty, and an Everyman Cinema are among the mall's occupants.

 

James Buchanan, LCP (part of M Core) Group's managing director, said: "With our proven track record in focused investment and intensive asset management, we are poised to capitalise on market opportunities, enhance value, and provide excellent offerings for our tenants."

 

Roddy Proudfoot, head of LCP's Scotland office, added: "We are already engaged in discussions with high-profile potential retail and restaurant occupiers, including new entrants to the Glasgow market, and look forward to making announcements in the coming weeks."

 

The Grade-B listed building, dating back to the 1840s, was recognised in 2016 as Scotland's best building of the last century by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland.
