LondonMetric Property is to commence development of a 350,000ft² logistics facility at its Bedford Link Logistics Park. The latest development represents the final phase of its 700,000ft² logistics scheme. It follows the successful completion and letting of three warehouses across 185,000ft² in 2019, and the further development of a 165,000ft² facility, which will be available for occupation from February 2021.
Having commenced the enabling/groundworks for the 350,000ft² facility, construction will now commence with a view to the scheme being ready for occupation in Q3 2021. The BREEAM Excellent building has been designed to the highest specification and will provide for the generation of Zero Carbon energy as we target the achievement of Net Zero Carbon.
