Logicor leases two distribution warehouses to Amazon (UK)

Logicor, a leading owner and operator of modern logistics facilities in Europe, has agreed to lease two UK distribution warehouses totalling 562,000 ft² (approx. 52,200 m²) to Amazon.

 

 

The 10-year leases are for GT257, a 257,855 ft² (approx. 24,000 m²) warehouse in Bardon, Leicestershire and Logic305, a 304,751 ft² (approx. 28,300 m²) warehouse in Weybridge, Surrey.

 

 

Amazon will incorporate both logistics warehouses into their UK distribution network for orders placed through amazon.co.uk.

 

  

The cross-docked Bardon warehouse, GT257 is located on Interlink Business Park, Bardon, Leicestershire, close to J22 of the M1 and in the Midlands Golden Triangle, one of the UK’s top distribution locations.

 

 

The Weybridge warehouse, Logic305, is located on the historic Brooklands Industrial Estate, near J10/11 of the M25 and 15 miles from Heathrow airport.

 

 

The GT257 lease commences immediately, whilst the Weybridge lease will start in September 2015 once property refurbishment works complete.

 

 

Amazon also occupies Logicor logistics facilities at Rugeley, Staffordshire in the UK and near Prague airport in the Czech Republic.
