LIP Invest has acquired the 11th property for its open real estate special AIF “LIP Real Estate Investment Fund – Logistics Germany”. The asset, designed as a so-called parcel distribution centre (Mechanised Delivery Base), has been used by Deutsche Post since its construction in 2012. The existing lease continues in the long term.
The object is made up of 5,000m² of hall and office space, as well as 80 parking spaces for trucks, vans and cars. The scheme is conveniently located at the main station in Braunschweig. The tenant uses the site as the delivery base for the entire city area of Braunschweig and the surrounding districts. The purchase price was not disclosed.
