Letting successes for HOCHTIEF in Trianon in Prague (CZ/DE)

HOCHTIEF Development Czech Republic, the Czech subsidiary of HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung, has concluded lease contracts for almost 16,000 m² of office and business premises in its Trianon building in Prague.

This means that close to 85% of the total rental area of 19,000 m² has been let. Even before construction work commenced, the building was sold to Union Investment Real Estate (formerly DIFA). It was completed at the end of last year.

In March, the Czech bank Česká spořitelna will occupy six floors with 12,500 m² and set up a branch office in the building. In April 2009, TNS AISA, a leading Czech market analysis company, will take up 2,500 m² of space. At the beginning of May, Pojišťovna Èeské spořitelny, one of the country's largest insurance companies, will move into premises of 600 m² in the Trianon.

In another tenancy agreement, the Kolkovna Restaurant – famed for its cuisine and its Pilsner beer – will open its first establishment outside the historic center of Prague and occupy 570 m². The Trianon office/retail complex comprises a 12-story glazed tower and an adjacent eight-floor block. It has an underground garage with parking for around 300 vehicles.
