The Annual International Conference on the Real Estate Market in Croatia celebrates its 10th anniversary!

The Tenth Annual International Conference on the Real Estate Market in Croatia will be held on April 9 and 10, 2014, in the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel.


The main topics of the traditional Tenth Conference in Zagreb will be:


- Commercial Real Estate

- Energy

- Infrastructure

- EU Funds

- Green Building and Sustainability.


At the Conference, there will be around 20 panels with more than a 100 speakers participating.


The speakers at the Conference opening will be Mr. David Slinn, His Excellency Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Mrs. Anka Mrak-Taritaš, Minister of Construction and Physical Planning.


Sava Zagreb, a multi-purpose project that aims to protect, regulate and use the River Sava and at the same time to awaken its potential, will be presented by Leo Penović, Programme Manager.


Dietmar Justinek, Head of Sales Metros Europe and CIS, Siemens AG will present the most advanced underground train in the world – the Inspiro.


An extremely valuable urban regeneration project Liverpool Waters, that plans to regenerate and transform 60 hectare dockland site to create a world-class mixed use space, will be presented by Graham Olver, Chief Operating Officer, WYG.


Arup is an international company that brings together different planners, engineers, consultants and other specialists, while their reference list consists of projects such as the Sydney Opera House, the Centre Pompidou in Paris and work for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Their work and long-time experience will be presented by Chris Twinn, Senior Sustainability Consultant.


Prof. Bojan Baletić, Ph.D., Vice-rector for Master Planning and Inter-Institutional Cooperation at the University of Zagreb is responsible for the development of Borongaj Campus in Zagreb. The Campus is the biggest investment in education in the last 150 years and upon its completion it will be used by 35.000 students.


Another campus, the Campus WU of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, one of the largest in the world, will be presented by Project Manager Christoph Sommer. While designing and constructing this modern university concept the emphasis was placed on green building, sustainability and use of new technologies.
