LEGO® opens its third store in France (DK/FR)

After So Ouest (Paris) and Euralille in the north of France, it is now the turn of Jaude 2 shopping center (Centre of France region) to welcome the Danish toy brand, LEGO®, who are exclusively advised in France by the Retail department of Cushman & Wakefield.


In line with their development strategy in France, LEGO® will open a new store with an area of 177 m² in Jaude 2, the extension of Jaude shopping center, owned by Klépierre Ségécé, in Clermont-Ferrand. This third store is scheduled to open in November 2013.


Since its creation in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen, the LEGO® Group is committed to developing children's creativity through playing and learning. Owned by Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, the company became the third largest toy manufacturer in the world. LEGO® products are sold in more than 130 countries.


Located in the heart of Clermont-Ferrand, Jaude is the major urban shopping centre of the city. With 24,000 m² on three levels, this shopping center dedicated to culture, leisure and fashion, attracts nearly 10 million visitors each year. The extension, Jaude 2, will open its doors in November 2013. Developed on a 50,000 m² site, this property will offer a mall of more than 13,500 m² with 600 parking spaces, offices, apartments, a cinema complex with seven rooms, a four-star Mercure hotel and a residential hotel.
