Iconic French fashion house Dior opened it's travelling exhibition at The Dubai Mall today (9 November 2015) - the next stage on the Le Théâtre Dior world tour.

The exhibition features a series of installations sourced from the Dior archives, detailing the couturier's fascinating history and pivotal role in womens fashion. In an homage to the 1945 exhibition of the same name, the 60 miniature dresses are exact replicas of the original couture creations.

The exhibition will run until the 24 November on The Dubai Mall's fashion catwalk situated on the ground floor. The expansive centre regularly hosts grand exhibitions, performances and experiential activity, fulfilling its strategy to be the world’s premier lifestyle and entertainment retail destination.

Shopping centres are increasingly being considered as event spaces for brands looking to create impact and generate sales leads through increased footfall. As art installations evolve into new spaces, shopping centres are benefitting from increased aesthetic appeal and entertainment value – reflected by the growing trend in retailtainment.
