LaSalle completes two lettings at Metris office building in Munich (DE)

LaSalle Investment Management today announces that it has won two large tenants for the Metris office building in Arnulfpark, Munich. These latest deals mean that 90% of the building has now been let.

Cancom AG, a leading provider of IT infrastructure, has secured 4,500 m² on the top floors in the tower part of the building. The other tenant, a leading provider of virtual computing solutions, will occupy 3,667 m² on floors three to six.

Located in the Arnulfpark, close to the busiest bridge in the city of Munich and a short distance from the Central Station, Metris is a 12-story, high-quality, fully equipped office building with a total floor space of more than 31,000 m².

Metris has previously achieved Gold standard in the pre-certification for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) by the US Green Building Council ('USGBC') in recognition of the environmental sustainability of the building's operations and maintenance. This includes a natural stone facade and a thermal insulation system; ground water used for cooling; the use of high quality construction materials and large landscaped roofs.

David A, Ironside, LaSalle Investment Management, said, "The high quality nature of this deal is excellent news for our institutional investors and highlights the continued demand for first-class green office accommodation."

The space is let by the LaSalle German Income & Growth Fund, a fund managed by LaSalle Investment Management. Colliers International, Munich, acted as a consultant and broker for Cancom AG. Cushman & Wakefield acted as a broker for the other tenant.
