Komodor Logistics Park signs major lease with Eldorado Ukraine (UA)

Komodor LLC has executed a lease agreement with Eldorado Ukraine, a leading nationwide retailer of consumer electronics and domestic appliances, for a warehouse and office area of 11,380 m² - or 17% - of the 68,940-m² Komodor Logistics Park.

Eldorado, which operates one of the largest networks of home electronics supermarkets in Ukraine boasting 78 own shops and six franchise shops, has already started operations in Komodor. Komodor Logistics Park has been fully operational since November 2008 and is considered among Ukraine's largest and most sophisticated logistics facilities with a total warehouse floor area of 59,530 m². Built to the Class A modern warehouse standards, Komodor also features 3,650 m² of office and 5,770 m² of mezzanine space.

The logistics complex, situated 32 km west of Kyiv on important E-40/M-06 highway, also known as Zhytomir Highway, is a joint investment project of three Western and Northern European investment companies whose approach to the real estate development has been built around the principles of highest professionalism, transparency and Western facility management.

"We are pleased with Eldorado's choice and are glad to have them as one of our anchor tenants. Eldorado is now the second largest customer in Komodor after the Germany-headquartered logistics operator CENTOS Central Logistics," says Risto Hiekka, CEO of Vicus Limited, a Finnish real estate investment and development company, one of the shareholders of Komodor LLC.

"We believe Komodor's convenient location serving both Western and Southern directions and its high construction quality reflected in low operational expenses make Komodor attractive to all tenants seeking warehouse space in Kyiv region. We look forward to attracting new tenants to Komodor in order to reach full occupancy in the near future," says Yegor Paanukoski, Marketing Advisor of Komodor Logistics Park.
