Knight Frank to sell four Ibis Styles hotels (UK)

Knight Frank, the global property advisor, has been appointed by New World Leisure to sell four Ibis Styles hotels.  The properties are located in Birmingham, Barnsley, Crewe and Haydock.

 

The four hotels have recently undergone a €2.95m (£2.6m) refurbishment and rebranding programme and are available as a portfolio or individually.  ibis Styles is an international brand of unique, non-standardised, limited-service hotels, owned and franchised by Accor Hotels.

 

Ibis Styles NEC comprises 166 bedrooms and 170 parking spaces.  It is situated approximately two and a half miles from the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), which welcomes approximately two million visitors and holds over 500 events each year.  The hotel, which was built in 2008 and rebranded in 2015 following a renovation, has a guide price of €20.9 (£18.4m). The property features conference facilities, a bar and restaurant and is located east of Birmingham city centre adjacent to Birmingham Airport, euro Birmingham International Station and the NEC.

 

Ibis Styles Barnsley is a 117 bedroom freehold property comprising 120 parking spaces.  It was purpose built as a hotel in 2009 and subsequently refurbished in 2015.  The hotel, which has a guide price of €4.5m (£4m), includes a restaurant, bar, conference facilities and is located approximately one mile from Barnsley town centre and Barnsley railway station, with direct services to Sheffield.

 

Ibis Styles Crewe is a long leasehold property with 112 bedrooms and 112 parking spaces with a guide price of €7.1m (£6.25m). The hotel features a restaurant and conference facilities. The hotel is located in close proximity to the centre of Crewe and less than a mile from Crewe railway station.

 

Ibis Styles Haydock is a 102 bedroom freehold property with a guide price of €5.11m (£4.5m).  The hotel has a restaurant, bar and conference facilities as well as 120 parking spaces.  The property is located approximately two miles from Haydock Park Racecourses.

 

The four hotels were developed by New World Leisure and Alfred McAlpine under a Ramada Encore brand, part of Wyndham Hotel GroupKew Green Hotels, a leading UK hotel management company, was appointed to manage the hotels in 2014 and undertook the rebranding exercise on behalf of the owner.
