King Sturge appoints head of new Poland office (PL)

King Sturge announced the appointment of Tomasz Strzyzewski as an Associate Director and Head of the King Sturge office in Katowice, Poland. Tomasz Strzyzewski will focus on Investment Consultancy, Office Agency and Industrial as well as managing the office and overseeing the Site Finding, Property Management and Research departments.

The Katowice office opened in April 2008 and covers the Katowice and Krakow regions of Poland. Tomasz is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics with a diploma in Management Studies and holds a masters degree from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow where he studied sociology. He has a passion for motorsports and he holds a rally driving licence.

"I am delighted to be joining King Sturge in Poland" said Strzyzewski, "I look forward to the challenge of building a successful team for Katowice and the region. We have already secured a number of instructions including the leasing of the Silesia Towers offices for Trigranit, the marketing of the Cross Point Industrial Park in Zory for Osier Group and the property management of Millennium Plaza for the Aviva Central European Fund. These projects offer an excellent foundation on which to build the business."

Katowice is the largest city in the Upper Silesia region of Poland with a population of around 320,000 in the city itself and over 2.1 million if the surrounding metropolitan areas are taken into account. It is the most industrialized and urbanized region of Poland and second after Warsaw with regards to the number of investors.
