King Sturge announces new Head of Project Management in Romania (RO)

King Sturge in Romania announces the recent appointment of Gabriel Balaban as Head of the Project Management & Building Consultancy in their Bucharest office. Resul Kilic, the previous manager has undertaken a top management assignment for King Sturge's office in Istanbul, where the company foresees great business potential.

Gabriel was previously Partner at Gardiner & Theobald, with over 14 years of experience in the construction/real estate sector. His expertise extend to Project and Cost Management, Lender Supervision, Construction Development Management and Building Surveying, and includes all types of properties, from class-A office buildings (of a total value of construction work in excess of €250 million) to logistic parks, residential (over €100 million) and hotels.

Gabriel undertook different management assignments in the past, including Iulius Mall Timisoara, Global City Business Park, Bucharest Business Park, Timken Romania, as well as fit-out works for important multinational companies such as ING Bank, Unilever and EBRD.

In respect of the recent appointment, Gabriel comments that, "During the last couple of years, the real estate - and consequently the construction market - became tougher and tougher, and the Clients' requirements increased significantly. It is crucial these days for consultancy firms to be able to provide high quality services, and this is mainly depending on the experience and the quality of the employees.
