KanAm acquires Lyon office property (FR)

KanAm Grund Group has purchased the first property for the KanAm Grund European Cities KI in Lyon, from BNP REIM. The asset is the CEGID52 Quai Paul Sédallian complex located in the Vaise district of Lyon. The scheme consists of six inter-connected office building parts with a total area of 14,172m² and is fully let to Cegid SA, a company founded in 1983, which provides worldwide cloud services and management software to private companies and the public sector. It has been agreed to keep the sales price confidential.

The building complex has good transport connections, is located near a ring road and also easy to reach via a well-developed network of safe cycle paths. Lyon, home to about 520,000 inhabitants, is France’s third-largest nucleated city after Paris and Marseille. The urban agglomeration with over 2 million inhabitants is the country’s second-biggest urban area after Paris. The city’s economy is predominantly shaped by the manufacturing and service industries. The Vaise district to the north of the city centre is a mixed area of residential, business, leisure and retail properties. Hotels and sports clubs complement what is on offer. The district is defined by its continuous development.
