Jones Lang LaSalle was named the Consultant of the Year 2010, the highest and only recognition awarded to real estate service providers, at the 7th annual Commercial Real Estate Awards ceremony, held in Moscow on April 23rd, 2010. This is the fifth year running Jones Lang LaSalle has won this distinction, and the sixth time since 2004, when the awards ceremony was held for the first time. Jones Lang LaSalle is the only consulting company in Russia to have achieved this high recognition several years in a row.
Another outstanding nomination was The Deal of the Year with 3 nominees of which 2 were concluded with the support of Jones Lang LaSalle. The winner was Siemens Real Estate on the deal transacted at the end of 2009 when Siemens Real Estate acquired business center Legion II from the owner Legion Development. Additionally, "Best Office Building Class A" was won by White Square of AIG/Lincoln and "Best Industrial Complex" by PNK-Chekhov of PNK Group.
This year's ceremony, held in Moscow's Expocenter, was attended by more than 600 guests, including developers, managers of Russian and Foreign real estate companies, representatives of the Moscow City government and foreign and Russian investors.
The awards, launched by Commercial Real Estate magazine in 2003, recognize the best office, retail, industrial and hotel projects, as well as best developers and consultants, working in Moscow. The winners are determined by expert panels, consisting of real estate professionals from all property sectors.
Moscow Commercial Real Estate Awards 2010 marks the achievement of the previous year in commercial real estate. This unique event allows an objective evaluation of the market, its achievements and its perspectives and sets new standards for future growth.
