Real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed Erik Huigen (45) Chief Operating Officer (COO) Benelux, effective from September 1, 2006. As Benelux COO, Huigen has ultimate responsibility for the Human Resources, Finance, IT, PR & Marketing and Quality Management support divisions in the Benelux organisation. He is also jointly responsible for the general management of the Benelux organisation. Huigen reports directly to Vincent Querton, Managing Director Benelux.
Huigen has been with Jones Lang LaSalle since January 1999, initially as COO Netherlands. Two years later he was named COO Germany, based in Frankfurt. This appointment at the Benelux level sees Huigen return to the Jones Lang LaSalle Amsterdam office.
