JM to build residential project in downtown Uppsala (SE)

In February JM will begin production of 49 apartments in the Kungsängen 6 project in downtown Uppsala. JM's two housing blocks in Kungsängen will contain a total of 329 residential units, to be built in seven stages.

The apartments in Kungsängen 6 target people who appreciate proximity to most amenities. The residential units are within walking distance of Stora Torget, the resecentrum travel center, Stadsträdgården botanical gardens, and much more," says Håkan Lundkvist, project manager at JM.

The apartments have between 1 and 6 rooms plus a kitchen and have bright modern and airy floor plans. Many of the apartments also feature two balconies. Top floor apartments will have spacious terraces and soaring ceilings. Over half of the residential units are already reserved at this time and initial occupancy is planned for autumn 2008.

In addition to these two blocks, JM owns land for about another 800 residential units in the area. "We will be building apartments in Kungsängen for many years to come," says Lundkvist.
