JLL to strengthen leadership in Russia and CIS (RU)

Jones Lang LaSalle announces that Charles Boudet will move up into the role of Managing Director. Mark Jagger will step into the role of Executive Chairman.

These changes are part of a series of moves that Jones Lang LaSalle is making to reorganize and strengthen its leadership in Russia and CIS. Charles, who joined the firm in 2006, will take over responsibility for implementing a new three-year plan, which the firm is basing its strategy on from the beginning of 2010. Mark, who has been running the company for nearly four years since 2006, will focus his time on key clients and strategic issues across the business.

Mark and Charles look forward to forming an effective senior leadership team, further extending the breadth and scope of Jones Lang LaSalle's business in the CIS.

Charles Boudet originally joined the company to head the Office and Industrial Agency departments which have shown outstanding results under his leadership. He has positioned the Jones Lang LaSalle Office and Industrial Agencies as strong market leaders and has been personally involved in over 1 million m² of lease and sales transactions.

Under Mark's leadership, Jones Lang LaSalle has extensively grown its business. The company has won a string of awards including Commercial Real Estate's Consultant of the Year award in both Moscow and St Petersburg and has achieved a leading market share in the real estate services sector.

As well as chairing the Russia and CIS business, Mark will also now be directing some of his focus on foreign markets. He has been working in the real estate sector for 20 years, and has spent most of his career in the international business arena where he has worked across numerous countries in Europe and in North America.

Charles Boudet says: "I am very excited about stepping into this new challenge. Like all sectors we have been affected by the financial crisis, but we have taken all the measures necessary to adjust our business to the new environment. Now we are looking ahead again into the future and I look forward to taking responsibility for continuing our growth".

Andy Mottram, Member of Jones Lang LaSalle's European Management Board, comments: "Mark has done an outstanding job as the driving force behind our business in Russia and CIS for the past four years. We have now asked him to turn his skills to other strategic issues affecting our firm. We are pleased to have someone of Charles's calibre take over this responsibility and lead our Russian business onto the next stage as we continue to grow".
