JLL signs 3-year Transaction Management Services contract with BP

Jones Lang LaSalle has signed a contract to provide Transaction Management Services to BP's European, Middle East, African and Asian operations for a three-year term. As a result the firm's relationship with BP is now global as Jones Lang LaSalle already provides BP with Transaction Management Services in the US.

Richard Paver, BP Vice-President, Group Real Estate, commented: "We've entered this new contract to add further capabilities to our real estate team which operates globally across all BP businesses. We already have a very successful relationship with Jones Lang LaSalle in the US and this new agreement will enable us to operate with far greater consistency, introducing common approaches, global tools and simplified processes across all our projects."

Alasdair Vaux, Regional Director of Jones Lang LaSalle, added: "This contract with BP is a significant win for our Corporate Solutions business and we look forward to building on our successes with BP in the Americas. It is also a clear endorsement of Jones Lang LaSalle's continued investment in our global platform providing specialist services to corporate clients worldwide".

The award of the contract, tendered in competition with other service providers, continues the firm's successful growth of its Corporate Business; in 2007 Jones Lang LaSalle renewed a number of significant contracts including GlaxoSmithKline and Honeywell.
